South Korea is a very small country but if you compare with its other country’s economy, living standard of the local people which is not less than any developed countries in the world. Seoul is the capital of South Korea and Busan is the second largest city in Korea as well as both cities are an ultra-modern city. There are many other beautiful cities in Korea – Kyeongju (Famous for historical Buddhist sights including UNESCO World Heritage), and Jeonju (famous for Hanok or Korean Traditional Village). The country has endless things to offer tourists from food to nice places and also Korea is a very tourist friendly country and every year more than 10 million travellers visit. Places to Visit
Seoul
Seoul is the capital of Korea and the biggest as well. First you should visit this mega and beautiful city. The city has many historical places, monuments including Kyungbokung palace, Deokso Palace, War Memorial, markets like Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Insadong etc. should be must visit places in Seoul. Also you must enjoy the night life in Seoul because it’s safe, vibrant, 24 hours restaurant, bars. For the night life you can go to Hongdae or Gangnam area. To explore more in Seoul, you must visit nearby places like Nami Island.
Busan
After visit Seoul, you should visit Busan also which is second largest city in Korea. it’s a coastal city of Korea and famous for the beautiful sea beaches, city has only Buddhist Temple which is located nearby sea. Haeunde sea beach in the city is very famous not only in the city but entire Korea also and huge crowd gather here during summer time and lot of Koreans come to swim in the sea. Whenever you visit this city, try to eat local sea food which is not only fresh but very tasty also.
Gyeongju
Some of cities has rich history and among them Gyeongju is the main city where you can see lot of historical monuments, old buildings and city wall, Buddhist temples etc. which was built in Silla Dynasty (57BC-935AD). If you have time, walking around the city can be interesting and you will like also.
When to Visit?
The best time to Visit Korea is May to October, in between July and August are the hottest, but weather is somehow not bad because at the same time its rainy also.
What to Eat?
If you are foods lover then Korea is for you. Lot of tasty foods are there and among that Bibimbap, chicken and beer combo called Chhimaek, have vegetarian meals in Buddhist temple, Dak Galbi, fried chicken, rice cake etc.
