Day 2: Chennai - Mahabalipuram
After Breakfast half day Chennai city tour. St. Thomas Church, Marina Beach, St. George Fort is the main highlight of the city. After finish sightseeing, then lunch and then head to Mahabalipuram then local sightseeing of Mahabalipuram. Day 3: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry - Thanjavur

Day 4: Thanjavur – Trichy – Madurai
After early morning breakfast at the hotel, Thanjavur local sightseeing. First place you will see the Vrihdeshwara Temple which is one of the famous temple in South India which was built by Chola Empire in 10th – 11th CE. Then head to Trichy, after reach lunch then Trichy local sightseeing. Sri Rangnath temple (one of the biggest temple complex in India) is the main attraction in the city. After sightseeing proceed to Madurai. After reach hotel check-in and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5: Madurai – Thekkadi
Morning breakfast at the hotel and then local sightseeing. Minakshi Temple and Nayak Palace is the major attraction of the city. After city sightseeing head to Thekkadi which is very famous place for spices and beautiful nature. After reach, lunch then Thekkadi local sightseeing. Day 6: Thekkadi – Alappuzha – Kochi
After early morning breakfast proceed to Alappuzha. After reach, house boat ride in the Vembanad Lake in Alappuzha. Lunch (Kerala traditional food) will be serve at the same boat. Day 7: Kochi – Colombo - Negombo

Day 8: Kushinagar - Vaishali - Bodh Gaya
After breakfast in the hotel, proceed to Polonnaruwa. After lunch, you will go for sightseeing. Polonnaruwa was the 2nd capital city as well as commercial and religious centre of Sri Lanka after destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It was built in the 11th and 12th century AD. Royal Palace, the Audience Hal, the Lotus Bath, king Parakramabahu’s statue, and the Parakram Samudraya lake built by King Parakramabahu the great. The Gal Vihara where 4 splendid of the Buddha in Upright, Sedentary, and Recumbent postures beautifully carved on the stones. Another places to visit is Shiva Temple, the Lankathilake, the Watadage, the Galpotha, the Kiri Vehera and the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth Relic are the main attraction in Polonnarua. After all sightseeing head to Dambulla which is 60 km from Polonnaruwa. After dinner overnight stay in Dambulla hotel.

Day 9: Dambulla - Sigiriya – Kandy
After breakfast visit Dambulla Cave Temple. This is a sacred pilgrimage and the best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka for 22 centuries. The Buddhist mural paintings which is covering around 2100 m2. The caves of Dambulla sheltered King Walagamba during his 14 years of exile from Anuradhapura. Due to its location at major junction, it’s the centre of vegetable distribution in the country. After visit, you will proceed to Sigiriya or Sinhagiri (lion rock) which is near to Dambulla. This is the best example of ancient urban planning. There is massive column rock nearly 200 meters high. The site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) to make new capital. He built his palaces on the top and decorated with many colourful frescoes. After death of the King it was abandoned and till 14th century it was Buddhist monastery. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. After lunch head to Kandy. This is hill capital of Sri Lanka. Kandy play an important role in Sri Lanka Buddhism and there are many temple’s shrine and monasteries in the city. Upper lake Drive, Market Square, Gem Museum, and cultural show is the main attractions in the city. After dinner overnight stay in Kandy hotel.

Day 10: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya – Kandy
After breakfast head to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is also called Little England of Sri Lanka by the locals because of British style houses like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions. This is one of the beautiful valley which is full of waterfalls, and tea plantations and the coolest place in the island. The Victoria Park which is located in the centre of city is good place to visit. You can find here rare birds also.
After visit Nuwara Eliya, head to Kandy and visit Temple of The Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple which is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy. The relic has played an important role in local politics because whoever hold it they hold the governance of the country. The temple was damaged from bombings by the LTTE in 1998 but restored successfully.
The next visit will be Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. The total area of garden is 147 acres which was built in 1374 as a pleasure of Kings of Gampola and Kandy. There are total 5000 species of trees, plants and creepers. After that dinner and overnight stay in Kandy hotel.

Day 11: Kandy – Colombo
Day 5th. After breakfast head to Colombo. After arrival lunch in Colombo then you will go for local sightseeing. Colombo is the commercial and the largest city of Sri Lanka and its population is around 5.6 million. Due to its large harbour and strategic position along with East – West trade routes, Colombo was well known city 2000 years ago among traders. A drive through the city through the busy commercial areas to tree – lined residential areas. British administrative centre and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749, Colombo Museum, replica of Avukana Buddha and independence square is the main attraction in Colombo. After all sightseeing proceed to Colombo international airport and then departure to native country.
