Myanmar is a Buddhist country and almost 88% local people are Buddhist. Therefore, there are many places where you can find beautiful Buddhist temples and monuments. Bagan is the most famous tourist place in the country where you can see more than 2000 Buddhist monuments including pagoda and temples. Along with Buddhist sites, you can find many colonial architectures as well.

Day 1: Yangon

Your warm welcome in Yangon, Myanmar. Nice Holidays Travel representative will receive you at the International airport and assist you to the hotel by booked vehicle. Representatives will discuss about the entire tour program and basic things to prepare during the trip in Myanmar after reaching the hotel. After reach, evening walk in the main city. After check-in, leisure time and overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2: Yangon – Bagan

After early morning breakfast, drive to the airport and by domestic flight proceed to Bagan. After reach transfer to the hotel and after having rest, city sightseeing will start which includes village market – Nyaung Oo Market, Prototype golden stupa – Shwezigon Pagoda, Htilominlo Temple (famous for fresco temple), Ananda Temple, Manuha Temple, and Pyattadagyi Temple etc. are the major attraction in the city. after sightseeing overnight stay in the hotel.

Bagan is the ancient capital of Myanmar and you can see here 2000+ Buddhist monuments which was built in 10th – 13th CE and the period was the golden era of Myanmar.

Day 3: Bagan – Pokokku – Pakhan Gyi – Baga

After breakfast in the hotel, drive around 1 hour to Pokokku. After reach, sightseeing of local market and then shwegu Paya visit which is famous for woodcarvings. After lunch in the local, we will visit the remains of PakhanGyi. This is the largest monasteries in Myanmar and its standing on 254 hark-hued teak pillar. After all sightseeing, return back to Myanmar and overnight stay in the hotel

Day 4: Bagan – Mandalay

After morning breakfast in the hotel, fly by domestic air to Mandalay (1 hour by air). Earlier Mandalay was Myanmar kingdom (formerly known as Rathnapura) and famous for arts and crafts. Mahamuni Image, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, and sunset from Mandalay Hill will be the major attraction during the sightseeing. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 5: Mingun – Amarapura – Mandalay

After breakfast, drive to Mayan Chan Jetty and start to boat (local wooden boat which can be uncomfortable but very interesting) in Ayeyarwady river and proceed to the world’s largest ringing bell casted by Bodawpay in 1800 which is almost 90 tons and Mingun Pahtodawgyi which is a giant and incomplete pile of brick stupa and constructed by King Bodawpaya. After visit Mya Thein Tan Pagoda, drive back to Mandalay lunch in the local and then ancient capital of Amapura, Mahagandayon Monastery, Sunset from 200 year’s old U Bein teak bridge span across Thaugthanman Lake and after all sightseeing overnight stay.

Day 6: Mandalay – Heho

Morning breakfast in the hotel then proceed to Heho by air. The city is located in the central Myanmar and after reach drive to Nyaung Shwe then drive to Inle Lake which is located in South of Nyaung Shwe and an inland fresh-water lake which is located on 3000 feet. You can see here old traditions of locals, floating firms, monasteries etc. The area is surrounded by beautiful mountains and a lovely place for nature lovers. After visit here, we will proceed to Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, built in 11 CE, Se Gaung Village, Nan Pan village, and then Ngaphechauung Museum where you can see large collections of old monasteries. After finishing all sightseeing, overnight stay in the hotel

Day 7: Heho – Yangon

After morning breakfast, head back to Yangon by domestic flight. After reaching lunch then local city sightseeing. Bogyoke Market, Shwedagon Pagoda, China Town and Yangon Jetty will be the major attraction for sightseeing. After finishing all sightseeing, overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 8: Yangon

After breakfast, prepare for departure. Transfer to Yangon international airport and head back to the home country.
